I was born and raised in the United States by a family of priveledge, but went on the run to escape a pre planned marriage set up by her family.
Why you chose to be a Blood of the Court, a Borghesia ?
While i realize that it would be futile to run and hide my fate, I actually embrace it, as I glean much more from being bitten than i ever knew. possible.

I am a gentle soul, who likes to please others, while I am no saint to be sure as we all have a dark side to us, I wish no harm to anyone.

To be bitten, i prefer seductive gentle bites but am not opposed to being ravaged as long as I am not drained.

Questions and opinions.

'Questions and opinions' is a new heading to share our advices, ideas and opinions answering to a specific question concerning our borghesia's life. This last day, here is the question i got :

" Can i be hurted during a rental ? And if i am hurted, what i have to do ? "

Elder's answer : " As you are working for the Court, you are under the protection of the rules. Any bites are different... So, some Chosens bites with sweetness like others are more violent. This is our fate, we are humans and we need to deal with that and the vampire who rented us. Of course, they need to respect the protection of the Court and, i think, it could be bad if they threaten or torture you. In that case, you must speak to your Elder and a meeting will be organized to have a talk with the Coven leader concerned or a Prosecutor (if the vampire is a outlander) to see if a report can be done. "

Welcome in the family...

Since few, our family is the alone one in Venexia and most of borghesia are lost in the city : some just arrived or another just lost their leader and family. We need to take care of them because the Chosens fast lure them to transform them in Blood Gaunt ! As blood Gaunt, they are addicted to the vampire's blood and become dependant of the vampires...

So, all borghesia must know that they are welcome in our family. If of course, they are ready to respect our simple rules. We need to encourage them to gather by joining or creating a borghesia family.

Gossip talks and questioning.

The winds brought me this...

Juliet, the Elder of Vita Borghesia disappeared. No one can tell about what happened to her. Did she leave Venexia for some long travels in the world ? Did a Chosen drained her too much to finally kill her ? For sure, we lost a fabulous lady. I hope all is fine for her.

Lady Zandra lost her favorite chosen, Auditore. This signore left the coven to join the luxurious Karnsteini coven. Perhaps she was tired of him ? Or maybe something worse happened between them ? Some said it was a sexual misunderstanding... perhaps the reason for Signore Auditore to join the Karnsteini ?

The Green Dragon

Who will be the owner of Green dragon Inn ? A Boghesia of course !
This famous inn must stay in the hands of borghesia's family and i do hope all of you will make a clever vote when the time will ask you to give your opinion.

Of course, i run for the leadership of this old Inn and i would like you to encourage me .. or any other borghesia running also. If you feel motive enought to be the owner, feel free to be a canditate. I will be happy to see a lot of you interested by the ownership.

If not, support a borghesia ... or simply your Elder.

Just keep in mind : the Green Dragon is a borghesian establishment, our hight quarter where the rental board is... So, the Green Dragon must stay ours !

Change about Borghesia.

Borghesia will no longer be automatically protected by Venexia Court.
They will now sign up for work each day as Court Blood.
Once they sign up for this job they will appear on the rental board which will be moved to the Green Dragon Inn.
When a Borghesia enters the sim they will not have the protection of the Court until they sign up for work.
A Vampire should always have checked the board before approaching a Borghesia to ascertain their rental status. In Fact the probability is that they will be rentable so the Vampires should always consider this.
If a Borghesia is not on the board then they fall under the same game rules as Paesani
Please note:
There is no OOC protection for Borghesia.
If there was it would give them an OOC advantage over the Vampires, and would be wholly unrealistic in RP.
What they do have however is the right to report the offending vampire to the new Inquisitora group who are bound by law to prosecute the offending Vampire.
The Vampire will then receive a heavy fine and possibly further punishment if they re offend.

How can i defend you ?!

As Elder of this family, i need sometimes to defend our members against troubles and problems. Of course, i need proofs to build my defense. So, when you are in troubles or if the RP went wrong, i ask you to copy all on a notecard and send it to me. The better way is to find me in Venexia and play the IC report... that is an evidence.

If the RP went in OOC drama, i guess you are enough adult to deal with and don't bring the family in this (and me by the way). If i get report about your OOC behaviour during a rp, if i get OOC complaints about you... I'll try to help you but, of course, i need to get a copy of your ooc talks to know about the correct facts and then judge about the situation and act correctly.

You must know i am here to lead, help and defend... every people of my family.

The Curious Quest cancelled.

I decided to cancel the game/rp 'Curious Quest' because i did not get enought inscriptions for the game.
I feel a bit disappointed that not so much Borghese were interested in a rp... a rp who could help you to build some IC interactions.

Well, i think i will wait a bit before building a new rp for another players than me. This is a lot a work that i share with leadership and my own fun in Venexia.

We lost a human...

We know what we lost... we don't know what we gain...

This sunday march 10, we lost a human , a Borghesia, a friend... This sunday was terra's turning.
As a good friend of him, i was present with a few Borghese to bring some humanity in this event... to be witness of Chosens violence, horror... to share the pain of a human and of course, to show i respect the choise of my friend.

A lot of Chosens from all Sabats were present to help Lady Zandra during this ceremony... especially to drain the Chosen in becoming.
After the cruel 'kill' of Terra, the Demonican's Elder proceeded to the rebirth of Terra, using ancestral powers.

Finally, as i expressed the wish to Lady Zandra, i was the chosen human to feed the new greedy vampire, leaving him to suck my precious vitality. Even if Terra is my friend, i can't tell you all the mixed feelings i felt... Right at this moment, when he bit me, he was not my sweet friend Terra... He was more a famished Chosen.

Warning ~ DeRais's agression.

Dear Famiglia,

This is just a warning for you. There is two young Ladies DeRais who joined Praecipito Caelitus. Both of them are quite teasing all humans and vampires they meet. They use their DeRais's skills to force you to do things you don't want to do.
The two sisters are called Sion and Lanna De'Rais and they have no fear to attack every people who resists to them.

Yesterday, i was forced to play their game, unable to resist at their skills... They also threatened me that i was obliged to defend myself ! Fortunately, the Chosen was weakened by her thirst and i was full of fear and rage... good mixture to keep me alive.
Later, the DeRais ladies had fun with Lady Zandra and her servant man, forcing them to undress in the middle of the street... And all went worse at Arsenal, even for me.

So, i tell you, sisters and brothers, be careful from these two ladies and all DeRais in general. The Praecipito Caelitus members are all dangerous. THEY ARE ALL DANGEROUS !

Rp - The Curious Quest.

This quest is a race of investigations for all Borghese.
With this game, you will show your talent for invertigation and of course, you need to be the faster one who will bring back the correct informations. This is a game made to promote IC talk and investigation. So, the most of answers will be found with interactions with the Covens's members.

The quest is composed of 13 questions about each Coven of Venexia and a first 'reflexion' about the family Cuore Prezioso.

The Borghesia who wants to take part at the quest needs to subscibe near Gioia Selvaggia, Elder of Cuore Prezioso.

Rules.

- Game only for Borghesia.
- Subscribe near Gioia before friday march 9, 2pm slt.
- Questionnaire will be sent to all entries on saterday march 10.
- Use only IC investigations to get the answer at a question.
- Exchange between players is authorized, but don't forget it is a competition.

Raven was born in Madrid to parents who were heavily involved in the mystical arts. Pillars and servants of their community, they had been relied upon by the townsfolk, but over time they came under persecution by the church, fearing for their very lives. What wealth they had they sent with Raven as they put her on the boat for Venexia.

Raven finds a sense of honor in serving, even if many of the vampires look down upon the humans, she knows they could not survive without them

Raven is young and can be hot-headed at times, but is generally a sweet-dispositioned girl. She is naive and a bit precocious, which can get her into trouble. She has a big heart and cares very much for others, especially those who have been placed in harm's way.

Don't judge and forgive.

The city of Venexia is the center of some horrible events and since some days, we were witnesses of violence and painful punishement on people of our kind, Borghesians.
We have vampires, we don't need to fight between us, humans. It is enough.

As i am a leader, it happens to see me well dressed sometimes, enjoying a beautiful dress i receive as a gift. I am aware i was the target of a young borghesia lady and my friend Juliet took my defense.
But, here is my question... Is the lady knew about my identity, being a leader of a family ?

And i was right. The girl came to me and asked to have a talk with me. We spoke about my position, her mistake and plus, she apologized for being disrespectful with me.
How can i be mad on such a behaviour ? No. This girl need my help, she needs someone who is able to help her, to give her good advices. She was a lost soul and now, she is under my wings, she is a Cuore Prezioso.

I am not spiteful and i do believe in human's nature. Every human should have a second chance and i am giving this to her. She will be under my gaze and she will do her best to deserve my care. I hope she will listen my advices... Future will tell us.

Welcome in the family.

As i said, i wish to see all borghesians united and taking care of each other. With the vampires's opression, this will become an emergency : none borghesian should be rejected.

Not very far from Rome where my family had a mannor before my brother deserted from the navy and "loaned" 2 of their better ships when he took off. My family was stripped from everything we owned, land and titles. Those of us that managed to get away will not return to take more punishment.
Why you chose to be a Blood of the Court, a Borghesia ?
Hopes that one of the nobles will loose his heart to me so i can again get a life more like i was used to before.

Most of the time i a calm and easy to get along with, but i can explode (red hair) if anyone are bad to those i value.

Curiosity : Impressive victory !

If you want to be in the middle of the life of vampires, you need to stand quietly at the Piazza. This place is often victim of quarrels and fights between vampires of different covens.
After a lot of actions, we thought the piazza was back in peace... but no !  Some vampires from Cardinal's coven were teasing the Vordesian's leader, signore Amdis. We were well surprised when the vordesian drew his weapon, ready to fight. So, we stepped back in the shadow and watched the amazing fight and the impressive victory of Amdis : he defeated four Drakuli.
After the Vordensian leader took his prisoner to his home, a lady of my family went close the ship to paint the scene.

My family died when I was young, my Uncle later took me in as his ward. I have only recently moved to this city, before that I lived in many different countries, though if you press me to tell you about them I cannot say much as I don't remember most of them.
Why you chose to be a Blood of the Court, a Borghesia?
After my Uncle passed I decided to come here. I wanted to come to a place I had never been to. I was aware of the populace of Venexia, but it was the beauty of the city I'd heard about that drew me here. I knew of the bite, though I have no fear of it. As to being Borghesia? It seemed natural considering my families lineage.

I haven't a temper, I am already ill. To scream or yell would only make it worse.

Il Morso Fatale : Results

Yesterday, monday 29th, were announced the winners of the contest 'Il Morso Fatale'.
The three winners were present to get their price and celebarate they joy at the Green Dragon. The atmospher was relax and we finally had a good moment.

The 3th place went to our beloved Gemma, Lady Ragazza.

The second place went to Lady Romina from the Coven 'Arte del Sangue'.

And the winner of the contest, getting at the firt place is signore Abraham from Quelli Eterno. You were a lot of Venexians who enjoyed at his work.

After the proclamation of the results, we just celebrate the winners in a light atmospher, all Cuore Prezioso dancing in their cool attire. Thanks to all people who take part in this event. I am very glad to have such friends.



Silence... this is only gossip !

Did you hear about the delivery of a paesani called Gracy. But this is strange how a vampire is so protective with her and the babies. A borghesia went to meet the young mother, to congratulate and offer a gift for the babies... but the vampire went upset when the lady stepped between him and his girl, the mother. What the borghesia did wrong ? She asked if she was autorized to move closer and the peasani leans down her babies in agreement. Why this anger on a woman who just wanted to send her wishes for the newborns ? I thought vampire were not able to feel emotions ? Or perhaps he sees this babies as his future meal ?! How god !

Do you know why borghesians are less rented ? It is simple. Because vampires hunted a lot of paesani, enslaving them under their control. Now, vampires has new bloodoll for free. Peasani could say we, borghesians, sell our blood like whores. But what about these peasani feeding a vampire ? At the end, they just accepted the bite like all borghesians...

Il Morso Fatale : result and celebration.

The results of the contest of paintings will be announced the sunday 29th at midday (slt). This event will end at the Green Dragon where all venexians are invited to take part at the joy of the winners. After that proclamation, there will be a little celebration entertained by some Lestati from Musica Del Sangue.

I wish to bring some lightness by choising a theme. To have a light and cool party, i thought to invite people to wear relaxed clothing.

What do you expect ?

Dear Cuore Prezioso,

As leader of this family, i have a lot of things which rest on my frail shoulders and i assume that with pride and honnor. I constanly wonder how to be a good sister for you all, finding events and stories to entertain which wants.
But i need your help because sometimes, i feel like if i was working for nothing; having a little return or straightforwardly no reaction.
I don't ask so much, leaving you enjoy your story, i do not require your presence at all events.
And now, i wish to know... Do i need to keep creating and organise such events ? Is that useful and interesting for our family and its members ?
I just expect the sent of a notecard or a comment on the blog or a presence at a roleplay or a participation of you at an event. I don't think it is so much.

Soon, i will organize a meeting. For that, i need to find the best moment to gather the most people. Of course, i will make a note with all subjects we will talk about. So, think about all things you need to say or ask and also, what you expect from me and the family.

Venexia is an very populated island where events never stop. Of course, there is a lot of official balls  hosted by Sabats and Families but also unofficial parties made in the darkness...
The city shines under the lights with its bals, his colors, its arts, its richnesses, its people with their beautiful attires.
But what it happens in the darkness of the street ? What it happens behind closed doors ?  What it happens on the second floor of the bordello, hidden by the veil ? What it happens behind the scene of the Teatro ? And what it happens in the office of the Libraria ? And in the living room of the Caffe Grande ? And in the shadows of the docks ? And in the sacristy of the Basilica ?

Did you hear the  whispers ? Did you ?! Don't listen ... this is only gossip.

Naughty whispers...

One of our sisters seems to enjoy the bites of her protector... Is she the only one ? hum, not sure. Apparently, there is a lot of Borghesia ladies who enjoys the company of a vampire, getting very close. Is this reasonable ? And of which vampire should we approach or keep our distances ? Demonican, Drakul or perhaps DeRais ...

A lot of things happen at the Basilica ... apparently some naughty events happened there. It seems there are even priests without pant under their attire. Perhaps this is the reason of that big cleaning at the Basilica... forced to rent seven Borghesians to get all clean !

Can you tell some words about your past and origins ?
I was born the only daughter and youngest child of the wealthy merchant, Antony di Lombardi and his wife Alessandra. My mother, Alessandra, died during my birth and I think my father grew to resent me for that. As a child, being the only girl of 7 children, I quickly earned the reputation of being the "gem" of the family. As the" gem" of the family, I was kept locked indoors at all times for my own protection, by being told that I was sickly and the outside air would trigger my sickness. That meant no friends and no playmates, save for my brothers whenever they could escape from their studies. However, that time was used well in my studies and I became much accomplished at singing, French, literature, math, and dancing. At the ripe age of 16, I was betrothed to a man old enough to be my father plus some and promised to wed him at the age of 18. I had only met him twice before, once when I was 8, and the other time at our engagement party when he presented me with a little bird in a gilt cage and a kiss. He was handsome, and a kind and gentle man; albeit a little old, but I fancied myself in love with him and couldn't wait until our wedding day. At 17 , my father told me my fiance reneged on our marriage contract and left town, by brother later told me my fiance died from the wasting sickness. My father blamed me, and from then on I have remained locked in the cage disguised as a home, with a jailer disguised as a father. That is until my father died a few days ago.
Why you chose to be a Blood of the Court, a Borghesia ?
I want some amount of freedom however small it may be and I want to be able to control my own destiny. The bite will come, but at least it won't be in dark alley way when I least expect it.

Very sweet natured, and docile. Can sometimes be a little cheeky and tart.

I'm overly responsive (to my own embarassment), can be a bit naive, likes adventure to the point of putting myself into dangerous situations.

Rich, dark and heady, like an aged wine.
What is your worse fear ?
Being left alone.
What do you expect from a vampire ?
Nothing. To expect from a vampire is like expecting a fish to talk.

Each work will be published in this newspaper and a number will be allotted to each of them.
During 15 days, from 11th to 25th januari, you will be able to vote for your three favorite paintings, using the notecard you will receive in Venexia's group. To be valid, the Note needs to be correctly and completly supplemented. Then you just need to send the notecard to Gioia Selvaggia (Oneida.Oompa)

Odd rental...

As Borghesia, Blood of the Court, we are mainly rented for our blood. I can imagine each rental is different because of many conditions : the place, the moment, our mood and of course the vampire and his/her temper.
But the last rental my sisters and me lived was very odd... The father Connor from Daemonican Order rented seven ladies of Borghesia to help him at the spring-cleaning in the Basilica !

Our first reaction was to be upset about the idea of being used as simple servant to remove the dust from this old crowned building. But finally, we all worked with a light spirit, talking quietly together.

After that dirty job, some women of Cuore Prezioso went at the Bath House to relax in the hot water, removing the dust from their sweet skin. The better way to finish this day with a good mood, having gossip talk, joking about the cleaning.
